Pizza in the Park Tailgater on April 7,2023
Pizza in the West Austin Park Tailgater has changed to April 7 from 6pm – 8 pm. At this event, Friend Of West Austin Park (FOWAP)is sponsoring a casual “get to know your neighbors” in the northwest corner of the West Austin Park on Maufrais Street, future home of The Overlook. Join in for pizza, beverages and other goodies. Kids welcome. So, mark your calendar for free pizza in the west Austin Park for April 7 from 6-8pm!

CCDC is participating in Amplify Austin’s “I Live Here I Give Here”campaign on March 1-2, 2023. CCDC provides safe, affordable housing to families earning no more than 60% of Austin’s median family income and is the only organization of its kind doing so west of I-35.

Austin Redistricting Process – Public Input
Hello Neighbors,
It is now time for City of Austin residents to redraw City Council district boundaries.
As you may know, Austin has 10 city council members and a mayor. The mayor is elected by residents citywide and each council member is elected by residents of a geographic district within the city. Austin has a process for residents to redraw the boundaries of the council districts every ten years.
OWANA wanted to let you know how you can participate in this process. A preliminary map has been adopted, and now is the time for residents to comment on that map. You can view a copy of the map here. Public forums will be held on the following dates. Full details, including locations, times, etc for these forums can be found here.
