Octoberama, Music in the Park, and more!

Fall Neighborhood Events Round-Up
As usual, Fall is a busy time in Austin and in our neighborhood! Here’s a list of upcoming events, hope to see you at one or all of them!
Pressler Pour
Sunday, October 19, 1-5pm
Join Flower Hill Center for a modern beer garden celebration inspired by the legendary Pressler Beer Garden that started in the 1870s. Sip on craft beer from some of Austin’s best breweries while enjoying food, live music, and local vendors throughout the gardens of the historic Smoot home. Tickets are no longer on sale, but contact Flower Hill to see if you can busy them at the door!

Mathews Elementary Octoberama!
Saturday, October 24, 11am – 3pm.
This is Mathews Elementary’s annual fundraiser and it’s always lots of fun. Stop by (even if you’re not a Mathews family!) – it’s open to all, and has carnival games, food, a silent auction, etc. A great time!

Halloween Party!
Saturday, October 31, 6pm.
The tradition continues! Meet at West Austin Park at about 6pm to meet your neighbors and see some great costumes before the kids take to the streets for trick-or-treating! OWANA will provide pizza and kids’ drinks, and adults can bring their own spirits. Thank you to SPIRIT Halloween for sponsoring this event!

Music in the Park!
Saturday, November 7, ~3-6pm (time will be finalized soon)
Another tradition continues! Come share great local music while you enjoy time with your neighbors. Hot Dog King will also be serving up yummy bites.
Our lineup this year: Dan Crump, Nancy’s Wig, and David Fore & Friends
November 14-15, and November 21-22
A free city-wide celebration of art! Check the website soon for a list and map of participating studios in our neighborhood.
