Austin Parks and Recreation Department has agreed on a one-time only basis to allow the splash pad in Mary Baylor Park to continue operating until the middle of October, weather permitting. The extended schedule is due to the facility not opening until July. Next year, the splash pad will be open according to the normal schedule of May through September.
A big thanks to Laura Pocaro with OWANA for making inquiry to PARD about an extended schedule and to PARD for agreeing to it.
