Mathews Technology Fund

Posted Sunday, April 18, 2010

Mathews Elementary is currently raising money to fund a part-time technology teacher. Our goal is to raise $26,000 and we are encouraging each family and partner to participate in some way. Any contribution to our efforts is greatly appreciated and will be acknowledged as a tax-deductible donation.

This is a staff position that is not funded by the school district; however, we feel that it is imperative that our students get top-notch instruction in incorporating technology applications throughout the curriculum. Most elementary schools in our area fund a technology teacher through community contributions.

In addition to direct contributions, we continue to raise funds for technology through the purchase of HEB/Randall Grocery Cards (the gift cards are used at face value and give 5% back to Mathews!). You can purchase grocery gift cards in the Mathews office.

For more information or to donate online, visit the Mathews 360 web site.
