On Wednesday December 16, 2009 at 6:00pm the Austin Bat Cave is hosting a celebration for our summer anthology. The new book is beautiful and it is dedicated to Pauline Brown. During the celebration, students will read some of their work and we will show the video of Pauline. We would love for members of the church and community to attend. There will be light refreshments served. If you have any questions please contact Courtney Robinson, Executive Director at (512) 524-1489 or robinson.courtneyrenee@gmail.com.

In appreciation of Willis for his annual holiday light display at his home on 12th Street which brings a smile to all, Zocalo Cafe is having a hot chocolate happy hour on Saturday, December 5, 4:00 - 6:00 pm.
Warm up with $1.00 Mexican hot chocolate and serrano brownies. Yummy!
The proceeds will benefit Willis' light display. (Willis indicted he would probably use the proceeds to buy candy canes to give to folks who stop by to admire the lights.)
